Each trading day, the program reads the market's trend and volatility, then sizes a leveraged SPY position accordingly — scaling up when conditions have historically favored it, and stepping down or moving to cash before things typically get worse.
A set of overlays sit on top of that base signal specifically to reduce risk: they cap exposure when early warning signs of a larger move appear, regardless of how bullish the base signal looks.
- QQuadrant — classifies each day by trend direction and volatility regime, the base input to position sizing.
- CConfidence — scales the most aggressive position size down when the day's signal is less convincing.
- RRegime Warning — caps exposure when rising volatility and a weakening trend appear together.
- SSector Rotation — caps exposure when cyclical sectors are running unusually far ahead of defensive ones.
